Mr Lam is responsible for the overall performance and sustainable growth of the Group.
Prior to joining us on 1 January 2011, Mr Lam was the CEO of the Health Promotion Board (HPB). Before joining HPB, Mr Lam has held senior positions in several multi-national companies such as Cerebos Pacific Limited, Quaker Oats Asia Inc and F&N Coca-Cola Pte Ltd. He brings with him good business development experience and networks across Asia Pacific markets including China.
Mr Lam holds a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy)(Honours) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University, USA.
Dr Jong Hee Sen
Executive Director, Investments
Dr Jong is in charge of the medical assets development and overseas investment of our Group.
Dr Jong holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration and a Master of Science (Psychology) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He has a M aster of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA and a Bachelor of Science from the National University of Siingapore.
Tan Kuang Hui

Mr Tan Kuang Hui was appointed to our Board as an Independent Director on 1 September 2011.
Mr Tan has over 16 years of experience in the audit and financial consulting services, serving 8 years with the legacy Arthur Andersen. After leaving Arthur Andersen in 2002, Mr. Tan founded Crowe Horwath First Trust LLP, a mid tier public accounting firm, where he served as its Managing Partner till the present dat.
Mr Tan is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of Crowe Horwath International as well as the independent director of AA Group Holdings Ltd.
Mr Tan holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University and is a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Singapore as well as CPA Australia.
Siew Teng Kean
Independent Director
Mr Siew Teng Kean has served on the Board since April 2008. From 1998 to 2006, Mr Siew was with Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited in private equity and funds investments where he was appointed Managing Director from 2002.
After leaving Temasek, Mr Siew joined UOB Asset Management Ltd as Senior Director, Head of Business Development for Alternative Investments and in 2007, was appointed as Senior Director, Head of Institutional Business.
Mr Siew holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, a Master degree in Science from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Adelaide, Australia.
Kuek Chiew Hia
Independent Director
Ms Kuek Chiew Hia has served on the Board since April 2008. She has extensive experience in the area of Human Resources with multi-national corporations, publicly-listed and private companies.
Ms Kuek was the Human Resource Director (Asia Pacific) of Avid Technology Inc. from 1997 to 1998. She joined Citibank N.A. in 1998 as its Human Resource Director (Asia Pacific Operations & Technology) and later moved to Standard Chartered Bank as its Global Head of Organisation Effectiveness (Wholesale Bank). From 2005 to 2007, Ms Kuek was Group Human Resource Director of Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd.
Ms Kuek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Distinction) from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology
Associate Professor Jiade J.Lu, MD, MBA

A/Prof, Jiade J. Lu was appointed to our Board on 14 July 2009. He has extensive insight and experience in the healthcare industry.
A/Prof. Lu is the senior consultant and the Head of Department of Radiation Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute, an associated professor in medicine of the National University of Singapore. In addition, he is a Distinguished Professor in Clinical Oncology at The Cancer Hospital of Fudan University Shanghai.
A/Prof. Lu obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1996. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005.
