Dr James Pan underwent training in Ophthalmology in Singapore and subspecialty training in Cornea, External Eye Diseases and Refractive Surgery in Australia. Notably, Dr Pan is one of the few surgeons in the region accredited to implant the AlphaCorTM Artificial Cornea. He is also accredited to perform human donor corneal transplantation. He was awarded the Courage Star Award in recognition of his extraordinary dedication in tending to SARS patients and he recently received the Marquis Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare Award 2009-2010.
